Get Paid to Blog

If you’ve ever wanted to cut out middlemen like Payperpost and still get paid to blog, the Wordpress BankRoll Plugin will be just what you need. This plugin automates the process of selling a paid post by allowing advertisers to buy blog posts from you by simply clicking on a link and paying the designated price.

All you’ll have to do is to write the post or approve it once it has been submitted. Very easy and hassle-free way to make money blogging.

How does the Wordpress Bankroll plugin work?

The plugin works in a fairly straight forward way for both advertisers and the bloggers. Here is a step by step outline of the process:

  1. Install the BankRoll plugin and place the plugin code on your sidebar or any other location on your blog.
  2. A link called “Sponsor a post” will appear and advertisers can click on the link if they want to buy a sponsored post.
  3. Clicking on the link brings them to a submission form where they can choose to submit a pre-written post or have you write a post for them.
  4. The buyer will also be able to select the category for the post, include the title as well as the specific links and anchor text they want to use. They can also choose to feature the post on your sidebar for an additional fee.
  5. After making an option and filling up all the post details, they’ll click on a link which will send them a Paypal page that allows them to make payment immediately.
  6. After payment has been made, the submitted post becomes a draft post and is marked as paid and ready for review or approval. You can then start to write the post or simply publish it so it’ll show up on your blog.
  7. Check out this demo page to see how the plugin functions.

The admin panel for this plugin allows you to have control over specific details such as your designated Paypal ID, how much you want to charge for a post, the number of featured posts to display on your sidebar, your disclosure phrase as well as a list of posting guidelines for the advertiser.

You can also choose to disallow paid posts in specific categories and decide the length of a paid post as well as the number of anchor links that are allowed.

The plugin is available for free but requires a link back to the plugin homepage. Paid licenses are also available for single and multiple domains.

The paid version of the plugin is exactly the same as the free version except that there is no link back to the plugin page. Note that the support forums are available for both paid and free version of the plugin.

Currently, the price of a paid license for a single domain is US $19.99 and a unlimited license is US $49.99.

My suggestion would be to try the free plugin first and to see how fits your needs. If you find the plugin useful, you can consider buying it.
